Food Service Director

Hi my name is Helen and I am the Food Service Director at the Union Deli, Admin Cart and the Life Science Cart. I am English and transferred over from Compass Group UK in April 2006. While in the UK after graduating I work as a Chef and then moved into Management. I worked for Compass UK for 8 years for the British Army. I started there as a Sous Chef then became a Mess Manager and left as the Deputy Site Manager. Then I moved within the Compass Group into the Business and Industry sector as a General Manager for several units after that I moved into the All leisure sector and worked at two Zoo’s, yes I know quite a change! When I left the UK I was the Operations Director at London Zoo. I am very excited about working here at Stony Brook University and look forward to meeting you in the Deli!
