The Meal Pan Resolutions Committee meets nearly every Wednesday to discuss changes/suggestions relating to Campus Dining services. Here is a list of positive outcomes that have resulted from your feedback at these meetings:
- The Kelly’s Fish Market concept was introduced with much excitement. Students have enjoyed the fresh fish selections, toppings and sides, and love being able to see the items prepared before their eyes.
- Smoothies were added to the Kelly Coffee and Tea House, much in the same style as are served at Pura Vida.
- The committee approved a special, served Valentine’s Dinner. The menu included surf and turf, green beans, potatoes, iced tea and chocolate covered strawberries. Students were very pleased with the special dinner.
- Two energy drink options, FRS and Neuro, were sampled and approved for sale on campus.
- New veggie burgers were introduced in response to overwhelming approval after the Campus Dining Food Show. All four items are products from the Feel Goods Café,a small eating establishment in St. James that specializes in natural products. The four burgers are now offered at all Charcoals grill concepts on campus.
- Campus Dining introduced a Vegan Task force, a group made up of students and Campus Dining management staff to discuss issues related to vegetarian and vegan offerings on campus. The group now meets once a month during the school year .
- Campus Dining introduced larger bags of Pirates Booty in the Kelly C-Store at the request of the Resolutions Committee. V-8 Splash was also requested and is now available on campus.
- A new concept, Herb Kitchen, was introduced and offers high quality food served in the middle of the Union Commons servery.
- Sunday breakfast at Kelly saw a new breakfast station added to help reduce the lines during this popular meal period.
- An Ice cream sundae bar was added at Tabler Café during the dinner and late night periods.
- Pricing discrepancies for extra toppings at the Wrap it Up station were resolved, with a reduction in price.
