CAMPUS DINING SERVICES.

The Meal Plan Resolutions Committee makes important decisions about Stony Brook University’s Dining Program!

The Committee was formed with the goal of addressing campus dining concerns and issues. Membership consists of FSA Management, Campus Administrators, Chartwells Management, and Student Representatives.

The mission of the committee is:

  • Work to resolve student issues related to dining services that cannot be resolved at the unit level.
  • To review and approve price and Portion proposals for new or existing food items.
  • Review action logs maintained by FSA as well as summaries of customer suggestion box items and printouts of suggestions from the Campus Dining Services website. From this data, the committee identifies recurring items that seem to be of significant nature and prepares a resolution to those items.
  • To make changes to the current policies when needed.
